This past Friday, November 4 we opened our doors to DABSMYLA IN TECHNICOLOR, the first solo show in Los Angeles from the artistic duo since 2018 and our second exhibition at the gallery.
As we officially close our inaugural exhibition, POST GRAFFITI, this Saturday, we wanted to celebrate the occasion with a special print release based off the first ever collaborative painting between two icons in our world.
Influenced by African folk art, Moghul-era miniature painting, religious art and European illuminated manuscripts, Gregory William Rick's unique aesthetic shares an affinity with the collaged compositions of Romare Bearde.
This past Friday, September 23 we opened our doors for the first time with a reception for our inaugural exhibition, Post Graffiti. It was a joyous occasion with many family and friends in attendance, all integral to CONTROL Gallery.
